ACS Electrical

Your own homepage sometimes loads with no headline and no button, on the exact page your ads pay to send people to.

The goal

Most Perth electrical businesses your size sit between $30k and $100k a month. If the goal is holding $100k consistently rather than riding the season, this is about the gap between those two numbers.

What we found

1

Your homepage sometimes loads with no headline and no button

Live DOM inspection, acselec.com.au homepage, 9 Sep 2026: 1,315 of 1,903 page elements measured "visibility: hidden". The headline and both call to action buttons only appear once an animation script fires, and on several loads it didn't fire within 60+ seconds.

What it costs: This is the exact page your Google ads and your organic search results send people to. Every visitor who lands during one of those failed loads sees a dark photo with nothing to read and nothing to click, then leaves.

The fix: Turn off the entrance animation on the headline and both buttons so they're visible by default, animation optional, content never hidden behind it.

Your Google ads haven't shown to anyone since 24 August

Google Ads Transparency Centre, advertiser Auswest Contracting Services, 25 live creatives checked individually, 9 and 11 Sep 2026: Only 3 of 25 have a "last shown" date in August. Every other creative last showed between March and June 2026.

What it costs: We can't see why from outside, could be budget, a paused campaign, or a disapproval. Either way, whatever this account has been paying for isn't reaching anyone right now.

The fix: Log into the account this week and check status, budget and any policy notices. If it's meant to be running, find out why it isn't.

Your backlink profile is being used to sell backlinks, literally

Ahrefs Site Explorer, 10 Sep 2026. Actual anchor text linking to acselec.com.au, found on 30 domains, 64 followed links: "High Quality Dofollow Backlinks DA 50 PA 40 Premium PBN Network Service acselec.com.au Rank First Page Google Fast SEO Link Building Buy Backlinks Online Cheap"

What it costs: About 92% of the domains linking to your site are flagged as spam by Ahrefs. Your domain authority already collapsed from 21 to 0 once, between February and April 2026, before this second wave even arrived. This is the kind of profile Google's own spam systems are built to catch.

The fix: Export the full referring domain list and file a disavow in Search Console for the link seller and PBN domains.

200 people a month search "switchboard upgrade perth". You don't show up for it.

Ahrefs Keywords Explorer, Australia, 10 Sep 2026: "switchboard upgrade perth", 200 searches/month, difficulty 0, CPC $7.00, not ranking anywhere in the results checked

What it costs: A switchboard upgrade is worth $800 at the low end. Even 2 of those 200 searches becoming a booked job a month is $1,600 on a term with zero competition, and it's the job that opens the door to EV chargers and aircon work at the same house later.

The fix: Build one page targeting this exact phrase, with a real price on it. See the full page below.

Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.

I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.

If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.

If any of this is worth a conversation, I'm around this week, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.

Thanks,
Chris
